Firefighters require the best protection because of the dangerous conditions they face when tackling fires. The City Fire Brigade endeavours to provide it's Firefighters with the best possible Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Compressed Air Breathing Apparatus (CABA) sets are used in addition to PPE when entering smoky conditions or other hazardous environments such as in chemical incidents.
