During 2010 the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service (GFRS) crews carried out Lift Rescue procedures. This consisted of three, two day courses during which the Operational Watches were instructed in these procedures and involved the delivery of MS PowerPoint presentations and practical sessions in unison with Lift Company engineers, namely Otis, Embarba and Fain at different buildings throughout Gibraltar with numerous and different lift operating systems.
